About Me
Councillor david T Williams in Rhymney Gwent .Served with the Welsh Regiment in Korea on 355 . Was never treated badly in my experience as a National Service Soldier Soldiers in thoss days were a close band of brothers and looked out for each other Today's soldiers seems to be locked in the web of a power crazed stuggle of competition without gaining their just rewards for being a soldier at home or abroad. Beasting is not a sport and bears the hall marks of neglect by those who authorise such punishment. Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. Please try again. 1 Comment
Pte Gavin Williams did not refuse to carry out an order when told to do so by non-commissioned officers at the time beasting was Pte Williams reward for doing what was exspected of him. If Pte Williams had refused to accept the call of duty given by non commissioned officers Pte Gavin Williams would be alive today . Once the order was given He Gavin did his best to respond to the N C O s command and by doing so put his own life in danger while on duty and under orders to obey the people responsible for his death.
